ABE’S Fruit Bagels
Wattie’s Sliced Peaches
360 g 4 pack ABE’S Fruit Bagels
50 g butter, softened
420 g can Wattie’s Sliced Peaches, drained
4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup lite cream
2 1/4 cups whole milk
1 tsp finely grated orange rind
1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
1.Cut ABE’S Fruit Bagels in halves horizontally, cut bottom halves into
quarters. Spread cut sides of the bagels with butter. Arrange the bagel quarters and Wattie’s Sliced Peaches in a greased oven proof baking dish.
2.Beat the eggs, sugar, lite cream, milk, orange and lemon rind together.
Pour over bagels and peaches, arrange bagel halves on top. Cover and leave to absorb the milk mixture for 30 minutes.
3.Bake in a water bath at 180 degrees C for 50 minutes or until the custard is set. Serve warm.
