Serves 4

4 Organic Wholemeal ABE’S® Real Bagels
250g Whitebait
2 eggs
1 T flour
½ C Philly Cream Cheese
juice of 2 lemons
salt and pepper to taste
oil for frying

1.Mix together whitebait, eggs and flour. Cook tablespoons of mixture in hot frying pan.
2.Turn when bubbles appear, remove when cooked and keep warm.
3.Lightly toast bagel halves, spread with cream cheese mixed with lemon juice.
4.Top bagels with warm whitebait patties, garnish with lemon slices or lime quarters.
